Spectral analysis

The screening of aromatic substances makes it possible to find the composition of a formulation or a mixture of flavours.

The gas chromatography technique coupled with a mass detector allows the identification of substances, a second FID detector allows to calculate the proportions.

Our results are used to match a mixture, verify a production, and even serve as a basis for European PDT declarations.

Sucralose and fragmented coumpounds

Sucralose is an additive found in e-liquids, the analysis of this molecule require expertise and efficient instruments such as LC-MS-MS-MS.

Decomposition substances resulting from heating are performed with GC-MS appartus.

Here are three preoccupying substances that we routinely analyze after a laboratory vaporization sequence.

* 3-Chloropropane-1,2-diol (3-mcpd), n° CAS: 96-24-2
* 1,3-Dichloro-2-propanol (1,3-dcp), n° CAS: 96-23-1
* 2,3-Dichloro-1-propanol (2,3-dcp), n° CAS: 616-23-9
